Return Policy

Modern Tennis is committed to providing high-quality instruction and excellent service to all customers. This Return and Cancellation Policy is issued in accordance with the California Business and Professions Code and applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Lesson & Program Cancellations

Private or Group Lessons

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.

• Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

• Timely cancellations may be rescheduled or credited toward future lessons.

Clinics, Camps, and Special Events

• Prepaid programs canceled more than 7 days before the start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.

• Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable but may be transferred to another eligible participant with prior approval from Modern Tennis.

2. Retail Product Returns (if applicable)

For physical merchandise (e.g., racquets, apparel, accessories):

• Items may be returned within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt.

• Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

• Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except when items arrive damaged or defective.

3. Memberships & Subscription Fees

• Memberships or recurring payments may be canceled at any time by contacting us at [insert email/phone].

• To avoid charges for the next billing cycle, cancellations must be submitted at least 3 business days before renewal.

• Partial-month refunds are not provided after the billing cycle begins.

4. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be returned to the original method of payment.

• Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear.

5. Exceptions

Refunds or cancellations may be denied if:

• Services have already been rendered.

• The participant did not attend a scheduled program.

• The request falls outside the eligible cancellation window.
